The Guinness World Record for the simultaneous opening of sweets – the Wawel brand sets a new record
On 2 June in Krakow during the Festival of Colours by Wawel Fresh & Fruity 1145 people met in the Wawel sweet zone and tried to break the Guinness World Record for the simultaneous opening of sweets at one place.
Wawel is the winner of the prestigious “Złoty Paragon 2019 – Nagroda Kupców Polskich” competition
For another year in a row Wawel was distinguished in one of the most important FMCG market events in Poland – the “Złoty Paragon” survey. The brand won the Złoty Paragon (1st place) in the key category, as well as 3 awards. Over 430 products were submitted to the competition in 65 various categories.
Wawel Brand awarded with the main prize in the survey “Favourite Brand of the Polish 2019”
Wawel is one of the favourite brands of Polish consumers. This was confirmed by the results of the nationwide consumer survey “Favourite Brand of the Polish 2019” carried out by the Institute GfK Polonia. During the awards ceremony for statuettes and diplomas, which took place on Thursday 11 April in the Bellotto Hotel in Warsaw, Wawel received the main prize in the “Chocolate Candies” category for Malaga, Tiki Taki and Kasztanki chocolates.
Good practices of Wawel company once again distinguished in Report from the Responsible Business Forum
On 28 March the Responsible Business Forum published the report “Responsible Business in Poland 2018. Good practices”, which aims to identify the best examples of CSR activities and promote the idea of responsible business. Since 2010 Wawel has been recognised by the Responsible Business Forum for the implementation of recommended responsible business practices.
Over PLN 1,133,000 for charity organisations from Wawel brand as part of the “Heart Grows” campaign
The second edition of the social-consumer campaign “Heart Grows” organised by the Wawel brand has come to an end. The initiative, in which everyone could help by buying sweets with a heart symbol, involved almost 100,000 consumers. Across two editions of the consumer programme, Wawel has already allocated over PLN 2.6 million to charity organisations.
